Heretic is a young metal band from Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia. Their genre contains mixture of thrash metal, groove and metal core which they together call it »TrashCore«. Their influences are worldwide known bands such as Lamb of God, Pantera, Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive. Still, their priority is to create different style and experiment in music to make it sound brutal and groovy as it can. Their repertoire includes and represents only authorship songs. Their beginnings stretch back to 2008 with the release of their first EP called From anger to pain, but serious work and dedication started in 2010. They played over 50 concerts all over Slovenia and some also in Austria, Hungary and Croatia. They contributed a small tour over Norway with some other Slovenian and Austrian bands. They played on bigger events such as Nattrock, Bruc, festival LENT, Rogla freestyle week, MladiSmo open air, Metal Kramp etc. In April 2012 they recorded their first full length album in Rock Hard studio, Salzburg (Austria) with the producer Lorenzo Antonnuci (ex. Sworn Enemy, Smash Face). Album New Era was released on 20. October 2012. A week before they also released their promotional video for Dead eyes don’t lie which can also be found on the album. From that moment on they are on tour over Slovenia to promote album “New Era”.
