The mystery of Axl Rose’s $200,000 in stolen jewelry may have been solved. As previously reported,  three gold and diamond necklaces disappeared during a private party after a June 5 Guns N’ Roses concert in Paris. Rose was described as being furious about the theft, which is understandable when someone swipes 200 grand worth of your stuff.

According to RTL.fr,  a woman told police she had too much to drink and inadvertently put the necklaces belonging to Rose in her purse. There were about 130 people present at the gathering at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. She says she noticed the jewelry when she woke up and returned it  to a central Paris police station.

The 24-year-old model, whose name has not yet been released, was taken into custody. No word yet on whether any formal charges will be filed.

Guns N’ Roses are in the middle of a European tour that has already seen a series of strange occurrences, including Rose falling down onstage, the band getting pelted with objects and a fan reportedly being asked to remove his Slash T-shirt at the door of one show, among other incidents.

As part of European tour this summer Guns N’ Roses will headline See-Rock Festival in Graz (Austria) on June 29 and also will come to Croatia, Split, Spaladium Arena on July 17, 2012.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was relieved of about $200,000 worth of jewelery during a small gathering following their June 5 gig in Paris, France.

According to a news report from the Associated Press, Axl Rose was robbed of more than $200,000 worth of gold and diamond necklaces last night. A spokesman for the Parisian authorities says that Axl was furious over the incident that took place during the band’s private gathering following their performance at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

While very few details of the case have been made available at this time,  it does appear that Rose was not wearing the necklaces when they were stolen. Angry or not, Rose and his Guns are still set to perform their next show in Moenchengladbach, Germany, on June 8, and will return to perform in France later this summer.

Also, Guns N’Roses will headline See-Rock Festival in Graz (Austria) on June 29th, 2012 and later they will play in Croatia, Spaladium Arena, Split on July 17, 2012.

Guns N’ Roses turned up late for a show again. This time it was the crowd in Manchester, England, that sat around waiting for the show to start. However, rather than being unruly, a good portion of the crowd just left instead.
The group was supposed to go on at 10PM, but it was well over an hour later before the lights finally came up for the band to play. By that time, it was estimated that only 6,000 of the 10,000 capacity had stuck around to catch the performance.
However, those that did stick around were treated to a 33-song, three-hour performance that finally wrapped at 2:15 in the morning.
Hopefully Austrian fans who will attend See-Rock Festival in Graz on June 29 and Croatian fans at the gig in Spaladium Arena in Split on July 17will be more lucky with the show starts!

It’s a match made in hard-rocking heaven! The Cult singer Ian Astbury married Black Ryder singer-bassist Aimee Nash over the weekend.

People magazine reports that the couple took advantage of the long weekend to getaway to Las Vegas, where they got hitched Saturday (May 26) at the Little Old Church of the West chapel. The timing was perfect as the Cult were in town to perform at the M Resort.

Nash first met Astbury while the Cult were touring in her native Australia and her band opened the shows. The couple had been engaged for several months prior to their Memorial Day weekend ceremony.

The Cult will start the tour to promote just released album “Choice Of Weapon” within the next few days, on June 29 they play at See-Rock Festival in Graz Austria w. Guns N’ Roses, Soulfly and Sonata Arctica and on July 3, 2012, The Cult is coming to Split, Croatia, Spaladium Arena!

It’s not exactly been an easy ride so far for Axl Rose, who’s had a very accident-prone run on the road this year with Guns N’ Roses.
Before the tour even started, Rose tweeted a photo of a nasty bruise with the captions ‘Can U say HemaToma?’ and ’50 Shades of Purple’ that were the result of the 50-year-old rocker dancing on a table top at a Russian nightclub.
During Sunday’s performance in Liverpool at one point during the set, Axl Rose stopped the group’s performance when a fan threw a beverage onstage in his direction. Rose gave the crowed a warning, but eventually continued the show.
Finally finishing the set Rose told the fans, “Thanks for coming out. You guys have been great. Thanks for putting up with my hobbling around. Be safe getting out of here.” While making the comments, he proceeded to fall backwards at the side of the drum riser.

Guns N’ Roses is coming, as part of the tour in Graz (AT) where on June 29, 2012, play as headliners of See-Rock Festival feat. also The Cult, Soulfly, Sonata Arctica and Alkbottle.

But Guns N’ Roses are coming also to Croatia! Axl Rose and his gang will play in Split, Spaladium Arena on July 17, 2012. Tickets to the Golden Circle are sold-out few days ago, but still you can buy your ticket to the show at www.eventim.hr.

Axl Rose has amassed quite a few detractors over the years based on his late arrivals to the stage – or in the instance of a 2002 show in Philadelphia, not showing up at all. On that fateful night in 2002, when the crowd found out Guns N’ Roses wouldn’t be taking the stage, a riot erupted, resulting in several fans being sent to the hospital.
Ten years later, Axl Rose was back in Philadelphia last night (Feb. 27) playing at the Electric Factory during GN’R’s intimate club run. During the show, Axl took some time to comment on the 2002 event, saying that the facts were misconstrued.

Check out below what Axl said and earned an applause.

And to remind, Guns N’ Roses will return to Europe with first summer days. Closest to Croatia they will appear on June 22nd at Masters Of Metal in Milan, Italy and even closer on June 29th at See-Rock Festival in Graz, Austria where they will share the stage with Ian Astbury and his The Cult!
