Italian symphonic death metal act FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE is currently working on their third full-length with producer Stefano Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio.

Cristiano Trionfera (guitar, vocals) states:
“We are tracking guitars now, and the result is amazing… Stefano is nailing it and we know the album will sound incredibly powerful .”

For this album the band also used the precious collaboration of very talented guests, which gave a great contribution to make it a unique piece of art.

Tommaso Riccardi (guitar, vocals) commented:
“The concept of this album is based on the myth of the Labyrinth of Knossos and every character related to it. We focused on the philological aspect in order to represent all the elements of the classic world and, through a manic and meticolous research, we managed to create a metaphor with our times, as the maze can be associated with the endless search for what we really are. We’re sure you will be stunned by this as much as we are.”

Francesco Paoli (piano) adds:
“It’s difficult to recap in a few words all the elements contained in our new work, but we are sure this will absolutely be THE album for us.
We have spent a lot of time composing these new songs and, even if recordings are not finished yet, we can firmly declare that this material is simply incredible, more mature and definitely a huge step forward from all our previous works. Epic complex harmony, sophisticated touching melodies, a true vocal aggression, photonic grooves and back to articulated riffing… these are just few things you will find in this album.
It’s fucking quality music, you will see.”

The bands third album is due in August 2013 via Nuclear Blast records worldwide.

San Francisco-based doom rockers ORCHID have revealed the tracklisting for the band’s upcoming album, „The Mouths Of Madness“, which is scheduled for a April 26, 2013 release via Nuclear Blast.

01. Mouths Of Madness
One of the first tracks written for this album. I was struck immediately by the soaring, yet totally sinister sounding vocals against that pulsing beat. A great opening number. – Mark Thomas Baker, guitar

02. Marching Dogs Of War
We really struggled with this one to get “the feel” right. It’s a simple enough song on the surface but the subtlety of the shuffle can really be illusive sometimes. Do we swing on the light or dark side? Is it a slow enough tempo but not dragging? I’m very happy it didn’t end up on the cutting room floor since I think it is critical to the overall story the album tells. – Keith Nickel, bass

03. Silent One
The quintessential doom song of the album. The evil sludgy intro followed by the most crushing verse that I have ever played. My favorite drum song on the album. – Carter Kennedy, drums

04. Nomad
I’ve had the riffs for this song scattered about in my brain since we started the band. We’d jammed on different versions of the song and Mark always really liked it. One day it finally just fell together. I really like the feeling of it. It really feels like a journey through different emotions I’ve gone through about spending so much time away from home but then feeling restless when I’m at home…no peace. – Theo Mindell, vocals

05. Mountains Of Steel
A song that creeps into your soul. Very psychedelic imagery and a great heavy groove that makes it a blast to play. I’m always transformed by this song whether it’s jamming it with the band or just listening in my car. – Keith Nickel, bass

06. Leaving It All Behind
Man, this song was a pretty heavy one for me. I had the music for this one for a while and felt like it sounded really kind of sad but sentimental and loving at the same time. Honestly as funny as it sounds, I was driving and the ELTON JOHN song ‘This Is Your Song’ came on the radio. My mother has been really ill, she pretty much raised me on her own. I grew up pretty poor, just she and I really struggling to make ends meet when I was little. So this song just ended up being my way of saying thank you to her, not very evil. But I’ve never wanted to be in a band where I couldn’t say the things I wanted to, or feel limited by some poser identity of being a dark band all the time. – Theo Mindell, vocals

07. Loving Hand Of God
Started off as an ORCHID take on traditional blues like LIGHTNING HOPKINS. When I heard the finished track, the vocals gave me goosebumps and the feeling was much more of a Victorian era England than a Mississippi Delta. – Mark Thomas Baker, guitar

08. Wizard Of War
This song just kind of happened in one night at practice. Mark had had this riff floating around for years that He and I would joke around about saying it sounded like ENTOMBED or early CELTIC FROST. I always really liked it and we’d jam on it periodically. One night we worked on it and I went home and wrote a chorus and a bridge and the next practice it was just done. It was just one of those songs that kind of wrote itself. It’s just a straight ahead rocker, no frills. – Theo Mindell, vocals

09. See You On The Other Side
I always loved the riff, and especially the middle section, which grew to a point beyond what I thought was its potential. – Carter Kennedy, drums

New York death metal legends, IMMOLATION, have announced Kingdom of Conspiracy as the title of their upcoming ninth full-length album. The follow up to their 2010 release, Majesty and Decay, will be released on May 10 in Europe both digitally and physically via Nuclear Blast. The album was recorded at Sound Studios in Millbrook, NY with longtime producer Paul Orofino,and mixed and mastered once again by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH, SUFFOCATION).

“We are really looking forward to getting the new CD out there to the fans,” commented guitarist Robert Vigna. “I don’t think they are going to know what hit them after they hear this one! Kingdom of Conspiracy is one intense and miserably dark record!”

Regarding the signing with the Swabian label, drummer Tiger states with a wink: “Even though the relationship between people from Berlin and Swabians is usually considered rather… uneasy, we’re taking the first step to reconciliation: We’re very happy that our second studio album will be released via Nuclear Blast, who can look back on an impressive history. After an eventful year, we’ve locked ourselves up in the studio for the past two months in order to work on said record. The result elates us – we can’t wait ‘til the release date has finally come!”

KADAVAR’s upcoming new album was recorded in Tiger’s studio, where he also took care of the production, mixing and mastering. It’s set for a release on April 5, 2013 and will be entitled “Abra Kadavar”. As far as the album recordings are concerned, the multi-talent explains:

“After last year’s final show had been played in mid-December, we started writing new songs. We’ve already had a couple of finished tracks in May 2012, but those were eventually released on a split-LP with AQUA NEBULA OSCILLATOR in November 2012, which is why we started at square one again. As we knew that there was no procrastination and no going back for us, we sat down for two weeks straight to finish composing with total commitment. We’re perfectly happy with the outcome – I’d even say that “Abra Kadavar” comprises the best compositions we’ve created to date. The songs are more diversified, the ideas feel more spontaneous. Moreover, we’ve tried to capture much more of our live energy, which is why we’ve recorded almost everything all together in one room, with the amps turned up to the max – solely the vocals and a handful of guitar solos were added afterwards.”
