Headbanger´s Holidays is Metalcamp´s motto and credo – an indeed nice, comfortable and truely unique atmosphere with summer and vacation vibe. Can´t ask for more!

Metalcamp 2012. will take place in Tolmin, from 5th to 11th of August, and the first confirmed bands are:

Metalcamp 2012 will be august 5th-11th with bands playing 6th-10th (monday-friday).
over the years we had massive requests by fans to move the festival into august because of exams and holidays that starts on july 30th. the next thing that we thought to be cool is monday-friday shows so all of you have weekend before and weekend after to come and go home again without asking your boss for extra day off at work.

We are happy to announce two real highlights shortly before the festival starts: Black/Death Metal destroyers BELPHEGOR as well as Swedish Heavy Metal dynamite STEELWING.
BELPHEGOR are well-known for their aggressive performance on stage and their mean and ferocious mix of black and death metal with hellish and evil lyrics! BELPHEGOR take no prisoners, that´s for sure so buckle up and try to survive those troopers of death, hailing from Austria! Their latest album „Blood Magick Necromance” was recorded by HYPOCRISY´s Peter Tägtgren and is out now! 
STEELWING released their debut album „Lord Of The Wasteland” last year and since then they were on tour with big names such as Accept, Blind Guardian or Sabaton. These Swedes play melodic old-school Heavy Metal with great melodies and hooks and are among those new combos that keep the 80ies spirit alive and well! A true highlight at METALCAMP and since they played MC main stage last year, another killer performance is to be expected. Pure and true heavy metal, oldschool as f*ck!

All lovers of heavy sounds will have a chance to enjoy in beautiful Tolmin in Slovenia, July 11-17 with Slayer, Arch Enemy, Virgin Steele, Airbourne, Blind Guardian, Kreator, Accept, Wintersun, Mastodon and many more! Three day tickets are sold out and others can be bought via Eventim.

We are informing you that this year the parking tickets for Metalcamp 11 will not be available in pre-sale. They will be sold at the Metalcamp festival area only!
