„Performaces of W.A.S.P. and Dark Tranqulity were cancelled due techincal problems, which isn’t unusual at this big festivals, but unfortunely, something like that also happened at Metalfest Croatia. We must inform you how Megadeth’s showtime was re-scheduled on their suggestion, because of the border stop in Italy where they play today and travelling time. With that we had to adjust other schedules as well. During Megadeth show, some of the visitors decided, for only to them known reason, stop the concert, ruin one really big event and throw a black stain at months long effort of many people. Unfortunely, and on many great visitors but at the city of Zadar and Croatia, which have showed as great hosts to guests from USA, Mexico, Scandinavia, Germany, Slovakia, Egypt and many other countries around the world.

We mention once again how security staff was hired and until Megadeth’s performance no other dangerous events were happening. So about 3500 people, as they were saying themselfes to us, truly enjoyed in spectacle, as they called it. But against primitive attitude of some people is impossible to fight, so thanks to little people that can’t really be called fans, they don’t deserve that, many true fans were unable to enjoy in the show of one of the best heavy metal bands.

With things like that, unfortunely, performances of Death Angel, Bling Guardian, Hypocrisy, Kreator, Symphony X and Eluveitie will fall in other plan just like the unique environment, hospitability of town of Zadar and everything else great that was going on at the festival, which, as we mentioed was big part of the event.

Organizator is apologizing to everybody for embarrasing things that have happened and says how they have nothing to do with uncivilised behaviour of little part of the audience who didn’t care what kind of picture wil they send to the world. Also, we what to thank to many who have given s support so once again, apologizes to everybody.

The proof Croatia, inspite of all efforts and hopes, it seems, still isn’t country in a rank of high class metal event as metal festival in the heart of Adriatic came from the domestic audience tonight during the last evening of the first Croatian Metalfest at peninsula Puntamika in Zadar, Croatia while during the show of festival headliner and one of the world’s biggest thrash metal bands, Megadeth faced the storm of rocks.

According to unconfirmed information, the audience revolted by legendary bands W.A.S.P. and Dark Tranquilty due to technical reasons – according to audience due to disputes between Megadeth and W.A.S.P. – treated festival headliners by storm of rocks what was the reason for Megadeth to leave the stage.
