Antrax drummer Charlie Benante’s attorney issued a statement in detail describing a recent incident between the musician and his wife, claiming that the wife assaulted the drummer, who in the end required stitching of a wound on his head as a result of the assault. You can read his full statement on Loudwire. Benante will appear in court this Friday, August 3rd, when we expect more information about the incident.

Antrax drummer and his wife were arrested last Friday, due to an altercation in front of their daughter. They also allegedly spent the night in jail. Antrax have been out on tour this summer as part of the Mayhem Festival.
