Nightwish have announced dates of upcoming European tour. Closest to Croatia, they will play in Ljubljana on May 8th 2012 in Križanke. „Imaginaerum“ is due to be released on December 2nd via Nuclear Blast.

Finnish/Swedish symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH entered the studio late last week to begin recording the follow-up to 2007′s ”Dark Passion Play”. Drummer Jukka Nevalainen writes on the band’s official web site, “I usually find recording sessions stressful and just want to have them done as fast as possible, but this time it was all different. The whole session was extremely relaxed and we didn’t hurry at all. We took the time to try some different approaches to some of the songs and didn’t make any compromises. As one of the pictures shows, Tuomas[Holopainen, keyboardist/mainman] literally whipped the very best out of me. But I’m sure he did it with love…”

New album will be consisting of 10 songs and is due to be released next year. Photos from recording sessions can be viewed at bands official website.
