French progressive metallers GOJIRA will release a new DVD/Blu-ray, “The Flesh Alive”, in Europe on June 4 via Mascot. The three-disc set will chronicle the making of the band’s 2008 album, “The Way Of All Flesh”, and the touring activity that followed the CD’s release.  New studio album called “L’Enfant Sauvage” will be released on June 26 via Roadrunner Records.

A 30-second audio sample of the the title track of “L’Enfant Sauvage”, the forthcoming fifth album from French progressive metallers GOJIRA, can be streamed at Amazon.com. Due on June 26 via Roadrunner Records, the CD (the title of which translates to “The Wild Child”) features 11 tracks of mind-bending, thunderous metal.

The “L’Enfant Sauvage” title track will be released digitally on April 27.

While they were in New York City recording “L’Enfant Sauvage”, GOJIRA shot four short web videos documenting the creative process. Well, now they’ve assembled those into a single seven-minute mini-movie, and you can see it here.  A special collector’s package of “L’Enfant Sauvage” will feature two bonus tracks and a double-colored vinyl version of the record, along with an exclusive t-shirt.

Gojira recorded its new album at Spin Recording Studios in Long Island City, New York with co-producer Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD).

Rokaj fest nastavlja s popunjavanjem ovogodišnjeg line up-a, a novi paket od četiri banda donosi novu žanrovsku raznolikost u već prilično impresivan glazbeni program. Na pozornicama Rokaja nastupit će Laibach, Krankšvester, Tanker i Consecration.

Laibach – Najdugovječniji i najkvalitetniji glazbeni izvozni proizvod ove regije, mitski slovenski Laibach, dolaze na ovogodišnji Rokaj fest s novim koncertnim programom, više od godinu dana nakon posljednjeg zagrebačkog nastupa. Novi Laibach nastupi trebali bi kroz ovu godinu spajati prošlost i budućnost banda, a na njima će ovi titani izvoditi prastare skladbe iz prvih par godina karijere, neke od najpoznatijih s kraja 80ih, ali i premijerno uživo izvoditi filmsku glazbu skladanu za film Iron Sky (www.mute.com/mute/we-come-in-peace-the-original-soundtrack-from-the-film-iron-sky) koji je izazvao veliku buru na filmskim festivalima diljem svijeta. Band koji izrazito rijetko nastupa na festivalima, posebno u regiji, dolazi predstaviti novu glazbenu poslasticu iz svoje kuhinje upravo na Rokaj festu!

Krankšvester – Trenutno vjerojatno najatraktivniji underground hip hop proizvod ovih prostora, sjajni dvojac Krankšvester, dolazi dodatno začiniti već ionako prilično snažnu hip hop postavu ovogodišnjeg Rokaja.

Tanker i Consecration – Banjalučki teškaši Tanker i sjajni beogradski underground doom/sludge prvaci Consecration regionalna su žestoka imena kojima Rokaj fest pruža priliku da pokažu svoj talent na velikom festivalu, u okruženju jakim svjetskim imena!

Otkazivanje nastupa grupe Hatebreed

Loša vijest nažalost je da Hatebreed ipak neće nastupiti na ovogodišnjem Rokaj festu. Zbog logističkih razloga, odnosno situacije u kojoj band mora ostati u USA duže od planiranog, Hatebreed su odgodili početak svoje turneje i ona sada počinje tek 08.06. u Njemačkoj, dan nakon zakazanog nastupa na Rokaj festu. Preko svoje agencije MAD tour booking Hatebreed se ispričavaju domaćim fanovima koji su s nestrpljenjem čekali njihov novi hrvatski nastup, posebno zbog nesretne okolnosti u kojoj samo za jedan dan promašuju nastup na Rokaj festu.

No kako se ova situacija dogodila dovoljno rano, dok mnoge turneje još nisu zaključene, Rokaj fest će u idućoj rundi objavljenih bandova pokušati priuštiti fanovima koliko toliko adekvatnu zamjenu.

After TBF, Slayer, Mastodon and Gojira Rokaj Fest has added two mindblowing acts for this year’s line-up. Skate punk legends Lagwagon and fantastic nu hardcore/electro band Enter Shikari will perform in Croatia for the first time on Rokaj Fest.
Although there is some kind of unwritten rule how festivals are selling first wave of cheapest tickets without to many names published, Rokaj Fest turns different direction and gives fans a chance to know the new acts while promotional offer is still available!

The great return of Rokaj fest on regional festival scene. After two years of break, on June 7th and 8th Rokaj will take place at Zagrebački Velesajam which now becomes attractive festival location.

After first package of bands announced last week, which brings Slayer, Mastodon and Gojira to Rokaj fest, all fans of great local urban music will love this act.
TBF – today with no doubt greatest local urban band and who has without any kind of problems filled big Dom sportova recently, will perform on Rokaj fest ther opus of greatest hits, on the main stage, on Thursday, June 7th. On their first big show in Zagreb in 2012. TBF should on Rokaj prove their position of regional leaders and confirm status of our most famous band in this moment.
