Alanis Morissete has new album in the pocket: “Havoc and bright lights” will be out in a forthnight, on August 28.  She announced the album with her new single ‘Receive’. Song premiered online at Rolling Stone website – check this link!

The single and the album lyrically are all about self-confidence. Alanis sings, “It’s all about me, learning how to receive”.

Alanis has issued  her last album “Flavors of Entanglement” in 2008 and had since married and has a child in 2010, but she is now in a saddle and ready for rock’n'roll, “Havoc and bright lights” will be her 8th studio album.

She said to Rolling Stone, “No better time than now to be sharing a song about self-care and responsibility for filling one’s cup!”

With worldwide over 60 million sold albums, ALANIS MORISSETTE is one of the stars in the heaven of music. On the 13^th July 2012 the sympathical Canadian-Amarican vocalist comes to visit vienna for a open-air concert at the Arena.

Her last album was a few years ago released, it was 2008 – FLAVORS OF ENTANGLEMENT. But in the meantime she wasn’t inert:

2010 she released the titlesong of the famous movie Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time.

It is a long time ago that the megastar of the 90ies was on tour – but now fans out of England, France, Netherlands, Germany and Austria are looking forward to see her again!

Her new album will be released in august 2012 – exact on the 24^th. It is the 7^th album and it is named HAVOC AND BRIGHT LIGHTS.
