On joy of about seventy people, on November 2nd 2010 in Belgrade’s Akademija klub mini fest called „4 Way Norwegian Hellish Black Metal Strike!!!“ took place, where music talents were shown by Sulphur, Vulture Industries, Helheim and main Norwegian stars of the evening – Taake.

Show started with the first band at about 9pm. Sulphur with their 10 year long experience showed that they know what black/death metal is about. They made intro for hellish Norwegian sound direct from Bergen.

Next band was consisting of ex and current Sulphur members. Vulture Industries is a great band who prepared the mass and had very close and personal approach in Akademija. They exist for twelve years and they played songs from their two albums from which last one was released this year and is called „The Malefactor’s Bloody Register“. Always greeting the audience, Belgrade and Serbia they made everybody have a good time and enjoy the festival. They are devoting their texts to madness, demons, inner fight, while other bands are more into Norse mythology, darkness, winter, hell, devil…

After short break vikings are on stage, dressed in chainmail shirts playing the music of northen lands, singing about Gods, war, power. Of course, Helheim!

Eighteen years creating the music, six albums, two demo and two Eps, they prove that they are worth of respect that people five them, getting closer to heavy black metal sound, raising the warrior energy in us.

All the band had only video projection of their logo behind them, while Helheim made it different with videos of warriors, vikings, fight, running wolfes, ravens who are associaton on influence of gods in them and around us.

Short break followed while poeple have been running in and out in a hurry, moving to kill the time for the next band, waiting for magnificent Taake to start the thunder.

Merch stand also was in the club. With any problems, band members stood there, drank and had fun with their fans.

And finally, after long waiting, carring Norwegian flag, Taake enters the stage and the madness begins. People lead by their music, texts, enjoying while jumping, throwing themselfes, amazed by the play. We really saw Hellish Metal Attack while Taake was playing their old and new stuff.

Also there were some technical problems during the concert…after about 50 minutes of play we can hear from the microphone that show came to an end, it is over, they leave, but soon they continue for 20 minutes playing and then without any notice they break their play, collect the equipment and hellish fest came to an end unexpectedly and for a short time. Mass was stopped in enjoyment so they started shouting more at the club and bad sound problems than at the fact that band has stopped playing.

After that they were all there, hanging out with their fans.

In the end, this was great events for all who were there to see this quartet from Norway although everything literraly went straight to hell.

There is only left for us to hope that one day they will come again, in better ambient with better technical possibilities and everything will run in order.

End of this evening at 2am in the morning was remembered for earthquake which shaken Serbia, because probably, Norwegians had shaken the ground with their metal.
