How Bon Jovi turned its hometown to Rock City three nights in a row almost exclusively had the chance to see the fastest fans of American rockers (who will on June 8, 2011 play on Maksimir stadium in Zagreb) who on time managed to buy tickets for one of two screenings of the film Bon Jovi: The Circle Tour.
And so in the eyes of Zagreb fans  American rock legend on the screen of Movieplex in Zagreb shined in 90-minutes long movie filmed during three sold out concerts at the magnificent New Meadowland Stadium in the hometown of Bon Jovi, new NY Giants and NY Jets stadium. People gathered in front o the movie screen very soon merged with heavy rock successes from recently released album «The Circle» and, of course, some of the greatest hits of one of the most influential world’s hard rock bands. And while one would yes already this audio-video happening was one of the best nights of their lives other still wait for that the best night. For yet more than a half year.  In this new born Bon Jovi hysteria that gripped between the fans in this region after it was announced the band will start its tour next year exactly in Zagreb it’s not a surprise tickets for two projections of «The Circle Tour» move ‘flared up’ as this movie is showed in only 550 chosen movie theaters in the same time when the band is releasing the anthological compilation: Bon Jovi – Greatest Hits Collection. And how strong this cut of three magnificent concert rises the level of adrenalin tells enough the fact fans were applauding and singing during all 90-minutes, some o them even stand up to give an applause to musicians on the big screen. And it lasted from the intro video for the song «What Do You Got?» to closing «Livin’ On A Prayer». In the same time what the audience got, beside the enjoying the concert in a new audio and visual way, is truly close view on the band on stage which with its energy and wild show New Jersey took to three epic musical journeys. For sure, the view which offer this movie is closest we’ll ever come to band. And that’s one of reasons why it leaves you breathless. Because to follow Bon  Jovi from the moment they step out of the backstage over the songs «Raise Your Hands», «We Weren’t Born To Follow», «Born To Be My Baby», classic «Superman Tonight», «When We Were Beautiful», «Lay Your Hands On Me», «I’ll Be There For You» peformed by Richie and Jon, acoustic «Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night», «It’s My Life» which especially impressed people in Movieplex, magnificently performed «Keep The Faith» for which when you watch it on the big screen in dolby-surround imagine how it must sound in the form ‘here and now’ and «Livin’ On Prayer» until the moment they left the stage is something every fan wants.
«The Circle Tour» film is realization of dream for fans who enjoyed Bon Jovi concerts in their town, its dream come true probably also for the band but in the same time for those who still didn’t have the chance to see their rock idols playing live. And when it comes to, it seems, not too enthusiastic American audience what we can tell to band is – see you in Zagreb!
