As we started with massive interest for our new video for song „Kiša“, we couldn’t wait to get on stage on our promo tour…This is not blog where you are writing reviews…

Manntra speaks about the audience. 27.04.2012. PALACH/RIJEKA

We were pleasently surprised when we got to cult club Palach in Rijeka and when they told us that almost all tickets for our show are sold. It wasn’t clear to us that there are so many people who are willing to hear our un-tuned guitars and other bad things we do on stage. Everything started with soundcheck, which, as it usually is in Croatian organization, took one hour more than planned, ten big pizzas and avantgarde visions of votka-juice drink pouring in half-litre bottles and everything was ready for Rijeka to prepare best possible hospitability to us. After 10pm our collegues from band Monox have warmed-up the audience with their brutal riffs and we were watching and admiring from backstage in how many tones they could remember in one songs. We usually base our album on four same riffs but we still manage to make mistakes every now and then. Still we are lovers of minimal music and Mladen Grdović… After Monox comes the moment of truth: first stage perfromance on this tour must be like football player enters the field before the game, takes grass of the ground, crosses himself, kisses his Pope Jean Paul II tattoo and with two „Hail Maries“ he tries to score. Manntra is nothing else but travelling circus, people in band look like circus, roadies doesn’t look any more serious than band itself… And people in Rijeka were fenomel! When Palach was full, first riffs of unreleased song „Gorki San“ started (Aha! We have just exclusively revealed our new song name which will soon be on Youtube ) people started to go wild and us along with them. It was hot as hell and Palach was more and more jumping until the top of the evening when we played „Kiša“ and felt like Mišo Kovač, because the audience was singing instead of us, even better than we can do by ourselfes! One big cheers to Rijeka! You were great and we have slept only 3 hours because of you and were on the road to Karlovac on Hermetika! 28.4.2012 – HERMETIKA/ KARLOVAC

Boys from the team which organizes everything are really doing great and they were nice and managed for every band to have good sound and all those bla bla bla stuff. What bothered us was Kawasaki 3P. Has anyone ever stopped in Karlovac? We had and had a great time. Especially when mosquitoes on river Korana were biting us till bones and when we payed five more kunas with band coupon to eat hamburger, which was really good and greasy. We played in 1:20am and many people were in front of the stage, so the show began. People were jumping and then some guy tried to hit Marko with lighter to be cool in his company. Then Marko sweared to him during whole song on the microphone until that guy cried and his company started to tease him. That’s what happens when you try to be cool in your company. Besides this sweet incident everything was great in Karlovac, audience was singing and was loud and we have decided to be definitelly back to stop by in Karlovac, whatever those guys from Kawasaki were singing. Circus goes to Umag…and then again to Rijeka on Anti-Porin. To be continued….
