“The Gravity Of Impermanence”, the grand, second full-length from avant-garde death metal entity AZURE EMOTE — the massive project fully envisioned and created by Mike Hrubovcak (Monstrosity, Vile, Divine Rapture, Abraxas) — is out now worldwide via Selfmadegod Records.
Under Mike Hrubovcak’s direction, songwriting and full-on participation in its creation, “The Gravity Of Impermanence” was executed utilizing musicians from Death, Fear Factory, Yakuza, Monstrosity, Tristania, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and more. With over an hour of material displayed through fourteen tracks, the album is fueled by pummeling blast beats, electronic programming, a mixture of both guttural and haunting vocal styles, violins, saxophone, harmonica and a barrage of other instruments coalescing in a melting pot of misanthropic darkness that defines the AZURE EMOTE ethos, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ron Vento of Aurora Borealis at Nightsky Studios. The cover art was once again done by Hrubovcak, his Visual Darkness works well-known in the death/grind communities having illustrated album covers for Sinister, Grave, Cattle Decapitation, Hate Eternal, Mortician, and many others. The album garnered rave reviews in various media, and we definitely recommend it to all fans of these genres.

Poland’s relentless outfit ANTIGAMA has disclosed the full details on their pending full-length album “Meteor”, unquestionably one of the most anticipated grindcore albums of 2013.
ANTIGAMA’s sixth studio full-length since forming in 2000, “Meteor” is the revered act’s first proper album since 2009’s acclaimed “Warning”, and following two LPs with Relapse Records, will see the band returning to longtime allies Selfmadegod Records, their first LP for the label since 2005’s innovative “Zeroland”. The recently completed composition “Meteor” once again proves all over again why the band continually reaps such accolades with the media fans as both one of the most brutal bands of the genre as well as one of the most cutting-edge. With eleven new tracks of primal ANTIGAMA annihilation, “Meteor” reverts back to some of the bands more intimately brutal early material with thirty minutes of ultra-tight grindcore explosiveness, yet continues to carry the band’s detrimentally inventive edge, integrating brief progressive soundtrack ventures and more noise and programming elements. Recorded at Progresja Studio in Warsaw with producer Pawel “Janos” Grabowski (Masachist, Lost Soul) and mastered by Scott Hull (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Pig Destroyer), the album also features a guest appearance by Michal Lapaj from world renowned Polish progressive rock band Riverside.
Today the full track listing and cover art for “Meteor”, designed by the ANTIGAMA vocalist Lukasz, have been released, as well as the album’s now official street date of May 28th.

Italian trash/nu metallers Dismal Faith have a mean reputation for their „sonic wall of aggression“ that the band unleash on the crowd during their live shows, making them, in a short span of time, one of the most interesting acts of the whole underground scene. Dismal Faith have succeeded in melting the most disparate influences like Death, Black, Thrash, Nu, HC, Groove and Metalcore. They have a debut album „Morph“ coming out on May 13th for Nadir Music, and you can enjoy the first official video for the song „Not for Me“ below!
