Gods of Metal 2012 organizers has just announced:
A great English rock band back on stage with great style and a fistful of adrenaline. It’s with a great pleasure and pride that we announce the italian return of THE DARKNESS!

The band led by the charismatic and crazy Justin Hawkins will be performing at Gods Of Metal 2012, same day in which SLASH and MOTLEY CRUE will burn and rock the stage. This means that June 23 is the most rock’n'roll day in the italian history… the high voltage show (that’s what it is) of THE DARKNESS will be epic and energetic!!!

Furthermore, we also confirm KOBRA AND THE LOTUS, as the opening act on June 24 when BLACK SABBATH will be headlining. KOBRA AND THE LOTUS, of Canadian origin, are led by the beautiful and wild Kobra Paige. They were discovered by Gene Simmons of KISS and represent a new promise of the heavy metal scene…not to be missed!

June 21st: MANOWAR also confirmed: Children Of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Unisonic (the great return of Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen), Holyhell, Adrenaline Mob. Other special guests soon.

June 22nd: GUNS N’ ROSES also confirmed: Within Temptation, Sebastian Bach, Killswitch Engage, Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Kid Joe, Cancer Bats. Other special guests soon.

June 23rd: MÖTLEY CRÜE also confirmed: SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, The Darkness, Hardcore Superstar. Other special guests soon.

June 24th: BLACK SABBATH also confirmed: Opeth, Lamb Of God, Trivium, DevilDriver, August Burns Red, Kobra and the Lotus. Other special guests soon.
