Legendary Finnish songstress Tarja Turunen will release a live solo album titled „Act I“ in Europe on August 24th, and in North America on September 24th, in 2CD, 2DVD and Blu-Ray format. „Act I“ is truly a giant undertaking, having been recorded and filmed with 10 HD cameras at Teatro El Circulo in Rosario, Argentina, in March 2012. Among solo tunes and Nightwish classics, this release offers a variety of covers including Tarja’s rendition of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s „The Phantom Of The Opera“, Gary Moore’s „Over The Hills and Far Away“, Whitesnake’s „Still Of The Night“, along with many video extras, which surely makes this a perfect early holiday gift for every hardcore Tarja fan. Tarja herself described the two nights in Rosario as „a huge emotional drive to her personally“ and that many times she was „ready to burst into tears“.
